StreetLib Egypt is a publishing portal for authors and publishers in Egypt to digitally distribute their books around the world, with no up-front fees.
Books can be published in Arabic, English and most other languages, and will be distributed to ebook retailers and digital libraries worldwide, including to the world’s biggest ebook retailers like Amazon, Google Play, Kobo and Apple.

ننشر الكتب باللغة العربية والإنجليزية ومعظم اللغات الأخرى، كما نقوم بتوزيعها بين المكتبات الإلكترونية ومواقع البيع بالتجزئة والتي من أكبرها وأكثرها شهرة حول العالم: أمازون وجوجل بلاي وكوبو وآبل.
WHAT IS STREETLIB?
StreetLib is a global gateway distributor of digital books, based just across the Mediterranean in Italy, and serving authors and publishers worldwide.
Established in 2006, StreetLib has the widest international reach of any digital distributor. Authors and publishers can make their books digitally available to readers in almost every country in the world, and get paid for every sale. There are no upfront fees - StreetLib simply deducts a 10% commission from net and pays you the rest.

WHAT IS A DIGITAL BOOK?
At its simplest, a digital book, or ebook, is a digital file of a book or manuscript that can be bought, downloaded and read on a smartphone, an e-reader or a laptop or desktop computer by anyone anywhere in the world with an internet connection. No printing costs, no storage costs, no shipping costs.

ببساطة، الكتاب الإلكتروني أو الرقمي هو عبارة عن ملف إلكتروني أو مخطوطة رقمية على شكل كتاب يمكن لأي شخص في العالم شراءه وتحميله وقراءته من خلال الهاتف الذكي أو القارئ الإلكتروني أو اللابتوب أو الكمبيوتر في وجود اتصال بالانترنت. دون تكاليف طباعة أو تخرين أو نقل.

In Egypt alone there are almost 50 million people online.
Across the Arabic-speaking Middle East North Africa region there are almost 400 million people online. The region is home to some of the biggest book fairs in the world, including Cairo (the world’s largest!), Sharjah, Algiers and Casablanca, so again no shortage of booklovers.
But your books uploaded to the StreetLib Egypt portal will also be available worldwide, and globally there are over 4 billion people online.

Authors and publishers can upload a single book at a time, or use our batch upload option for large quantities of titles.
At this beta stage of StreetLib Egypt the upload portal dashboard is in English, Italian, Spanish, Hindi, Telegu and Tamil. We will be adding Arabic to the dashboard as the StreetLib Egypt portal completes its beta phase.
But the books themselves can be uploaded in any language, including Arabic, and distributed to any retailer that supports that language.
